The Sterling Spoon Anniversary Tour brought Jane's Addiction home to Lollapalooza last night.The festival founded by frontman Perry Farrell celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and the band was joined by two special guests at last night's performance: Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello on "Mountain Song," and Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin for closer "Jane Says."Jane's Addiction last played the main stage at Lollapalooza's flagship Chicago event in 2009.Earlier this month, Farrell made headlines complaining about the EDM music that's become a staple of the festival's annual lineup.

Later in the set, the Smashing Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin also appeared to guest on "Jane Says." Share This Video Facebook Twitter EMAILIn some ways, they are both relics of a bygone era.But on Saturday at Lollapalooza, Jane's Addiction and Tom Morello reminded children of the '90s that they can still bring it with the requisite fury.Jane's welcomed the Rage Against the Machine guitarist to the stage for a rousing, rip-roaring rendition of "Mountain Song," one of the centerpiece tunes of their second major release, 1988's Nothing's Shocking.
