AKRON, OHIO - It's International Overdose Awareness Day and community leaders are coming to Akron Wednesday to try prevent addiction.Starting at 9 a.m., at Summit County Public Health, a new program will be launched to make special pouches available for families to safely dispose of old medication at home.Prescription drug abuse can often lead to opioid abuse or heroin abuse.
