SPRINGFIELD — The Bridge Home – a new care facility in Springfield designed to assist young men between the ages of 18 and 35 who are struggling with substance abuse and addiction – hosted an open house on Thursday evening.Located at 1090 Worthington Street, the facility will house up to 16 residents and is run by chairman and CEO Christopher White, as well as its the day-to-day director, William Cosgriff. With the state's opioid-crisis driving levels of addiction and overdose deaths to unseen heights, the new facility's transitional living space for recovering users would seem an important contribution to any community.
