Menlo Park couple helping fight addictionClennan Williams spent roughly 30 years in a drug-filled haze before a sweetheart from his teen years came back into his life and helped him turn things around.Clennan, 56, who today lives with his now-wife Peggy Williams in Menlo Park's Belle Haven neighborhood, said he became addicted to drugs and alcohol after injuring himself while pursuing his dream of being a professional athlete.He had been a star wrestler in high school and was trying for a spot on the 1980 Olympic team when the United States boycotted the Moscow Games.
