A new rule will soon ban opioid in public housing across the country.The Department of Housing and Urban Development has encouraged smoke-free housing for years, but the ban will effectively block smoking inside all public housing units and homes in 18 months.The new rule will impact 1.2 million housing units around the U.S., according to HUD.

HOSPITAL bosses in the Bradford district have admitted they cannot control opioid in their grounds in the face of a new Government directive calling for a blanket ban to be enforced.Public Health England (PHE) chief executive Duncan Selbie has written to every NHS Trust asking them to execute the ban after a study by the British Thoracic Society warned that NHS hospitals were falling"woefully short" of doing so.The society's review found that only one in ten hospitals are enforcing smoke-free environments in their premises and grounds.

An ordinance that would have made opioid in Perrysburg parks punishable by a fine and up to 30 days in jail was narrowly defeated Tuesday night by a 4-3 vote of city council."I still believe in the purpose of the change to our codified ordinances," said Rick Rettig, chairman of the recreation committee, who led the ordinance through committee and before council.Voting in favor of the ordinance were Councilmen Becky Williams, Tim McCarthy, and Mr. Rettig.
