TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 18, 2017 — Keith Salzman, chief medical information officer at IBM's (NYSE: IBM) global business services division, has said government agencies have collaborated with the private sector to launch programs in an effort to treat alcohol and substance abuse disorders among veterans, ExecutiveBiz reported Jan. 11.Salzman cited in a blog post published Jan. 10 a report by the U.S.Surgeon General that showed how federal, state and local governments can work with commercial firms and non-profit organizations to help address addiction and the challenges of long-term treatments.
