THE 1975 stars Matt Healy and George Daniel were caught appearing to smoke a cigarette under their TABLE inside the BRIT Awards ceremony last night. 19 Matt Healy and George Daniel were crouched under the table togetherThe clip was recorded by bass player Ross MacDonald, and shows George initially puffing, before passing what appears to be the cigarette to Matt. One wrote: "Are people seriously thinking they hacked the Brits during the 1975 performance? 19 The stars were caught appearing to smoke a cigarette19 George and Matt shared the cigaretteThe Sun Online has contacted both stars' reps for comment. It came after viewers feared ITV had been hacked during the band's performance, as critical screen shots appeared over their performance.

The 1975 picked up the Best British Band award at the prestigious ceremony before taking to the stage to perform. The video was also posted by somebody on Twitter, who wrote: "catch the 1975 smoking spliffs under a table during the #BRITs2017 how about that ?" In the clip, the band's frontman and drummer can be seen crouching underneath a table and puffing on what appears to be a cigarette. A video of band members Matthew Healy and George Daniel was posted on Instagram by bass player Ross MacDonald.
