Senate Majority Leader Jeb Bradley, R-Wolfeboro, said, "This legislation outlines a smart solution for establishing full-day kindergarten in New Hampshire. Chris Sununu's proposal to target state aid to the neediest communities for full-day kindergarten. It voted 18-5 to pass an amendment replacing an earlier kindergarten bill with the Sununu plan. The program will provide aide to the neediest communities that want full-day kindergarten. The Senate had tabled the bill, presumably awaiting the House Finance Committee's treatment of the program.
