Attorney General Tim Fox announced on Wednesday that his office is soliciting feedback on how to address substance abuse in Montana for a new initiative. The DOJ will partner with the Montana Healthcare Foundation to hold six listening sessions across the state to hear real life experiences of individuals affected by substance abuse.

A mural created by Manitowoc County residents aims to spread awareness about substance abuse problems the community faces. addiction Prevention and Community Art project to spread substance abuse awareness in Manitowoc County. Community members of all ages came together to not only share their thoughts on the substance abuse problems Manitowoc County is facing, but they also took part in helping to create a mural representing how substance abuse has impacted their lives. During the event, members of the community began a mural that aims to help spread awareness about substance abuse in the community. Community members participated in a Drug Prevention and Community Art event May 16 at Manitowoc Senior Center.

Aberdeen is getting a substance abuse and mental health facility

This includes "addiction; substance use disorder services for adults, kids, and adolescents; mental health treatment for individuals with severe mental illness, for adults, children, families; and for treatment for individuals who have both. Sanford says that the facility will cover "a broad range of behavioral health outpatient services" for the area. Sanford tells KXRO that they received a contract from Great Rivers Behavioral Health to serve the Aberdeen community. This month, Lifeline Connections purchased 311 South I Street in Aberdeen, formerly housing Beyond Survival who moved in February .
