The 27-year-old Atlanta native was on his way to a Memorial Day party at Club Liquids in Wadley, Georgia before being taken into custody late Saturday (May 27), TMZ reports. Authorities searched the van that he was riding in and subsequently arrested the group on suspicion of stolen drugs firearms and drugs (which are believed to be ecstasy and marijuana).

According to TMZ, Rich Homie Quan has been arrested and detained in Georgia. No charges have yet been brought on Rich Homie Quan as the investigation is pending. Police arrested them on suspicion of possession of a stolen gun and drugs believed to be ecstasy and weed. According to law enforcement sources, Quan and a crew of 5 additional men were arrested over Memorial Day Weekend at a police checkpoint in Wadley, GA while driving to his scheduled performance at Club Liquids Saturday night. As of Sunday afternoon, he is being held in Jefferson County jail, where he could be held for a maximum of 48 hours without being charged.

Reportedly, the police suspected members of the group to be in possession of a stolen gun along with controlled substances, namely marijuana and ecstasy.
