Grove City gets grant money for smoking crackdown
Ahead of the landmark date Stoke-on-Trent City Council has revealed how the number of smokers in the area has fallen since the ban. However there was a blunder by the city council leading to the area being dubbed 'Smoke-on-Trent'. The PM Training assessor had been getting through 20 to 30 roll-ups every day before heading to the authority's Stop Smoking service. But the support from the Stop Smoking service kept me on track. It is estimated that the smoke-free legislation has helped inspire around 300,000 people across England to quit.

A smoking ban in parks was put in place in 2016.
