The Attorney General's Office released an 87-page report (attached at the bottom of this story) on drug abuse in Montana, compiled with the section of Justice's "Aid Montana" initiative, that released April 19 to develop a comprehensive approach to addressing the state drug abuse problem. "This collaborative approach to addressing drug abuse is a massive undertaking however it is worth our time & complete attention," Fox said. Approximately 1 in ten Montanans abuses or is reliant on alcohol or drugs, the report states, When about 61 % of high school students who drink alcohol drink in binge. The report states that an important driver for the promote in arrests is probation & parole violations, as well as revocations & failures to appear at court of law hearings.

Attorney General releases report outlining drug abuse in Montana

as mentioned in HELENA – The Montana section of Justice launched a detailed report on Tuesday which outlines what the State is currently doing to address substance abuse. The report took a year to compile & details the scope of drug abuse in Montana addressing the influences on people's lives & the method Gov. agencies are treating the issue — from protection efforts to curing to prison. According to the report, Methamphetamine violations are up over 500 % in the final five years & heroine violations have increased by over 1,500 percent.
