"by access to a healing programme & healing housing, our recovering students going to find structure, direction, & self-awareness When working to maintain a balance among abstinence, academics, & healthful living," college President Peter. A breaking up research conducted by the institute estimated which drinking by college students contributes to an estimated one,825 student dyinges every year. "Being enable to of offer this healing programme going to help to destigmatize students who struggle by substance Utilize Complications," said Judy Green, director of the college's Center for Health & Counseling.

State Sen. Eric Lesser tours drug abuse healing facilities

SPRINGFIELD - As portion of his effort this 30 days to spotlight the Opium epidemic, state Sen. Eric Lesser on Monday visited 2 Western Massachusetts facilities which work by addicts. Lesser visited Liberty Preparatory Academy & the Western Massachusetts healing & Wellness Center, both Springfield establishments which work by people in recovering from drug abuse & transitioning back to sober life, a statement from Lesser's office said. "It was incredibly moving & inspiring to meet by people who had taken such tremendous steps to overcome their intemperance & rebuild their lives," Lesser said in a statement. "We have to make sure the success we've seen here in these programs is replicated across the state." Hampden province Sheriff Nick Cocchi joined Lesser at his stop at the healing & Wellness Center, & later publicly thanked Lesser for his interest in the 139-bed facility.
