PREMIERE: Polaroid Summer confront drug abuse in “Tides” vidimus
by their brand Fresh vidimus for "Tides," Houston-based band Polaroid Summer are hoping to further the conversation about drug abuse – an ever-growing crisis which affects people of all ages, races & economic backgrounds. Singer Micaiah Walker tells of the song: "TIDES is a song which represents the struggles of intemperance, depression, anxiety & other trials which drastically affect our young society today further than ever. Although the track portrays struggles, it's too a song about recovery & the method important it is to make a change for yourself. After spending the winter of 2016 at Mix Star studios in Virginia coast by Maker Bryce Bordone, Polaroid Summer honed in on an alt-pop sound which's equal portions electronic & organic. Polaroid Summer are difficulty at work on their debut EP.
