(AP) - The Michigan home wants to direct four % of the Liquor Control Commission's income toward Battling drug abuse. The chamber voted 104-three Tuesday to earmark state funds from alcohol taxes, liquor licenses & liquor code violation fees for distribution between society health agencies. The bill would inject the money into services like drug abuse protection & curing programs - 1-4th of that can not be exclusively alcohol-centric. Supporters of the bill tell it provides a much-needed bridge for funding gaps in Michigan's health entities, that would gain nearly $20 mn from the measure. During the 2015-2016 fiscal year, the Liquor Control Commission's Internet income topped $430 mn.
