The counseling would be provided out of Medicaid & going to still as long as the mom saves up by it. Amy Hoffman, child specialist at ParentLink, said which this bill can make receiving & retaining Medicaid a lot smoother for the mums. Hoffman said they too help mums get signed up for Medicaid.

FDOC issues ultimatum to drug abuse curing providers

referring to The Florida section of Corrections is giving 33 drug abuse curing providers throughout the state an ultimatum: accept drastic cuts ranging from 40 to 90 % in their contracts or have their contracts terminated completely. The section cited a $24.nine mn budget cut in this year's allocations as the reasoning for reducing the contracts, that provide drug abuse services to prisoners & parolees. The Florida Drug & Alcohol Abuse Association tells the cuts stand to influence further than 50,000 prisoners & parolees who receive curing out of the programs. "In the institutions, we're looking at somewhere among 30 & 60 % of drug abuse curing going to go away, that means [if] 70 % of the people that come to prison have a drug abuse crisis, it means 70 % less going to get curing," said Mark Fontaine by the Florida Drug & Alcohol Abuse Association. Providers must decide whether to accept the cuts by five p.m. Thursday or have their contract terminated.
